MOWW San Diego June Luncheon

The Military Order of the World Wars (MOWW) San Diego was honored to hear from Guest Speaker, CPO Joey Jerome in June.

Patriots proudly gathered at the San Diego Unified School District’s Revere Center for the MOWW monthly luncheon on May 17.

CPO Jerome is the Director of Military Operations of The Armed Services YMCA of San Diego.

He shared some personal background like how the New Orleans, LA native retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Hospital (SARC) Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman after 24 faithful years of service. His degrees include a BS, in Criminal Justice and a Master of Social Work from USC.

Jerome has served in a number of executive positions including supervision of the patient movement center for The European Command, Senior Medical Department Representative for a Marine Regiment during wartime.

He also spoke about the impactful mission of the The Armed Services YMCA of San Diego.
